Toi Pōneke Arts Centre, Wellington City Council and Matewa Media are proud to invite you to our whānau friendly free screening of Moana 2 Reo Māori for the Pōneke Premiere at the Empire Cinema in Island Bay on Thursday the 28 November at 6pm. Reserve tickets below!

After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana journeys to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she has ever faced.. 

This film is rated G in New Zealand.

Matewa Media and Walt Disney Animation Studios are reuniting to celebrate the Indigenous language of Aotearoa New Zealand in a global first with the dual releases of Moana 2 Reo Māori and Moana 2. This historic event will make Walt Disney Animation Studios the first studio in the world to release the original voice cast version and the Indigenous language version simultaneously in cinemas across Aotearoa New Zealand.
