As part of Bailee Lobb’s exhibition: In Bathing, Bask on at the Toi Pōneke Gallery; Sonsie Elliott is offering a yoga session inside one of the inflatable sculptures. A beautiful blue space where you can bask in this hue while trying yoga asana and meditation in this unique environment.

Artist Biography

Bailee Lobb is a performance and installation artist who works with colour, soft structures, and movement to create immersive and playful interactive environments. She is creating an ambitious series of new brightly coloured inflatable works for In Bathing, Bask that will transform the gallery space into a playground of undulating textile forms, colour, and bouncing light. The immersive non-linear spaces on show will offer visual, tactile and spatial stimulation, encouraging sensory play and engagement with ‘stim’ culture – adding positive sensory stimuli to our lives in order to relax, self-regulate, and calm our central nervous systems.
