Whetuurangitia, moe mai raa is the transformation of tangata to tiipuna by way of stars. In this exhibition, stars stand in for the lives lost in Gaza. Sit with us in wānanga as we carefully weave stars with Gaza in our minds. These will be added to the accumulative work of Rosalie Koko. This is a whānau friendly event but please be mindful of the weight of this kaupapa at the time.

Alongside this Aroha Matchitt-Millar will be talking about braids as a site of resistance. Aroha uses muka throughout her hair to further embody the practices she has learned throughout her weaving journey.

Whānau friendly. Tikanga protocol debrief before workshop.
