Information about the Toi Pōneke Visual Art Residency
Chevron Hasset, Toi Pōneke’s 2019 Visual Artist in Residence
Running since 2017 the Toi Pōneke Visual Arts Residency supports a Wellington-based visual artist to develop a new body of work, and provides the artist with resources to dedicate themselves full time to their practice for a period of 12 weeks.
Applicants should have had previous experience of a solo exhibition or project in a public or artist run space and be looking to develop and expand on their practice. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to an interview with a selection panel before a final decision is made.
