Join the artist Selene Simcox to experience ‘Mess’ painting. As it sounds, this is a workshop all about painting messily. Selene’s workshop is designed to inspire your creativity, invoke your inner child to have fun and be in a safe space to let your creativity fly. This workshop is a chance to reignite with your creativity, release tension and find freedom of expression without judgement. This class is now 3 hours, allowing a few new components to be introduced.
All materials are supplied. We recommend you bring an apron or wear old clothes.
Places are limited to 10, so bookings are essential.

Artists Biography
Selene Simcox is interested in the various ways of making marks; of leaving a trace or an explorative line behind for others to explore. Whether the mark is left by the hand or a brush, spray can, or pencil, it is these marks that talk about the process of the work, how it came into being and what physical memory remains behind.
A variety of inspiration that informs Simcox’s practice includes graffiti, urban erosion, Abstract Expressionism, pop culture, mass media, and hybridity.
