Join curator Louise Rutledge and artists in a discussion about works from the City Art Collection in "Take that which has passed."

A catalogue featuring commissioned responses to the works in the exhibition will also be launched at this event. Featuring contributions by Georgina Watson, Matilda Fraser, Natasha Matila-Smith and Simon Gennard, designed by Ellyse Randrup. 

Louise's exhibition concept started from a specific work:
"When first viewing the works in collection, I was really drawn to Ruth Buchanan's work 'Normal Desires', and wanted expand on how the idea of desire aligns with archival impulses, that is the desire to preserve, record, and bring past histories into the present."
