Celebrate International Day of Disabled People at Toi Pōneke Arts Centre.

Join us for a work-in-progress reading with writer Robyn Hunt, as she concludes her d/Deaf and/or Disabled Artist Residency. Robyn will read excerpts from her work and the session will finish with a short Q & A hosted by Diane Comer.

“This book is a collection of personal essays, drawing on my lifelong lived experience of disability, (low vision) and my deep connection with the disability community. For most of my adult life I have been a disability activist. This is part of my work, to make the disability experience visible and understood by others. Of course there are many disability experiences. This is mine.” – Robyn Hunt

Mask wearing is encouraged for this event.

No bookings required.
