Environmental sound composer Thomas Voyce brings an 8-channel (octophonic) speaker system to Toi Pōneke Gallery for an immersive surround sound listening experience.

Choreographers Holly Newsome and Samuel Hall, alongside producer Brynne Tasker-Poland, spent three weeks at Toi Pōneke developing two new works, Incognito and Subsequent Slavery, performed at the 2017 Fringe Festival.

Growing Income Streams was an opportunity for arts organisations to grow their income by developing new or existing revenue. In partnership with The Ākina Foundation and Creative New Zealand.

Environmental sound composer Thomas Voyce was the Toi Pōneke Sonic Artist in Residence for 2016, in partnership with the New Zealand School of Music.
